This industry-first, high-performance premixed thinset and large and heavy tile adhesive mortar is designed for all tile and stone sizes—offering the strength and versatility of a traditional tile adhesive mortar without the need for mixing or water. Ready-to-use straight from the pail, it delivers exceptional bond strength, non-sag and non-slump performance, making it ideal even for large format tile, gauged porcelain tile panels (GPTP), and large and heavy (LHT) tile or stone installations on floors and walls. 

For the more demanding installations—such as large format tile (over 12” (300 mm) or larger on any side), wet areas with waterproofing, or non-porous substrates—each pail includes a convenient Activator. Mixed simply with water and sprayed over the troweled MULTIMAX 1 adhesive before applying tile, it boosts performance to allow seamless installations in areas where traditional mastics and premixed mortars fall short. 

Its dust-free, no-mix formulation simplifies jobsite preparation, reduces waste, and increases productivity. The smooth, creamy consistency provides excellent trowelability and ease of use for professionals and advanced DIYers alike. 

Unlike typical premixed tile adhesives or mastics that only meet basic standards for dry interior use, this ready-to-use mortar exceeds ANSI A118.15 HET, A118.4, and ANSI A118.11. This combination of performance standards means it’s not only suitable for submerged environments like pools, spas, and showers, but is also approved for use over exterior glue plywood—a substrate typically requiring polymer fortified cement-based mortars.
