FRACTURE BAN is a high performance, pliable, lightweight peel and stick membrane designed for use under thin-set adhesive mortars for ceramic tile, stone and other hard surface installations. This reinforced high strength membrane performs both as an anti-fracture and an acoustical underlayment system that eliminates the transmission of stresses from the substrate while dampening the transmission of impact and air borne noise through the floor to the room below. The unique design of FRACTURE BAN allows for usage in both commercial and residential applications offering a quick turnaround from a single multi-use product.
The application of Primer Plus is the first step in the installation process of FRACTURE BAN 40 and FRACTURE BAN 90.

- ASTM E2179 IIC Rating 42 / Δ IIC 14 for reducing impact sound transmission
- White non-woven surface for easy chalk line identification

- “Heavy” rating - ASTM C627 Robinson Floor Test to withstand vehicle and commercial traffic
- ASTM E2179 IIC Rating 45 / Δ IIC 17 for reducing impact sound transmission
- Grey non-woven surface for easy chalk line identification
